I offer different styles of Landscape Design, such as Mediterranean, sculptural Rock Gardens, Japanese Courtyards, California Natives and even inventive Edible Landscape. The style is chosen to suit your taste, your budget and the particular characteristics of your site. For instance, a hot dry location in full sun calls out for striking succulents amid boulders and gravel, but a site graced with Oak trees may be better suited for a classic Mediterranean style, especially favored within Santa Barbara and Montecito, because it showcases favorite drought tolerant plants. Still other properties seem just right for casual drifts of California native plants.  Any of these styles can be designed as a sustainable landscape, which conserves natural resources by reducing inputs, protects the environment, and greatly reduces maintenance.
