Actual Art Landscape Design offers still another unconventional way to create
sustainable landscape that will distinguish your home, simplify your life and require
almost no upkeep: a Stonescape. Yes, I mean a landscape based entirely upon rock
materials. Rocks are tremendously variable in shape, size, texture and color; there are
boulders, cobbles, pebbles, cinders and decorative gravels. From such a rich media, I
can design whole settings like creek beds or waterfalls, compose abstract painterly
patterns, build fantasy parks or galleries full of natural sculpture. Whatever its theme, a Stonescape lighted at night seems almost magical.
